Creating and Editing Fields

Map a grower’s field and personalize the R7® Tool experience. Let’s get mapping!

Creating Fields
  1. Select the appropriate grower using the ‘Grower Dropdown’ in the upper left hand corner.
  2. Click on ‘Add Field’ located under the ‘Fields’ tab on the right hand side of the screen.
  3. The create field tool bar should appear on the right side. Located on the create field tool bar, select the ‘Draw Polygon Boarder’ tool.
  4. Use ‘Draw Polygon Boarder’ to outline the field boarder. A few other options are to select the field by CLU, split a field border and move a field boarder.
  5. Select the checkmark to ‘Validate Geometry’ at the bottom of the tool bar. Fill in and complete ‘Field Details’ and press ‘Save.’ Currently, when editing a field geometry, a user will lose their RX’s.

Editing Fields
  1. Click on the arrow located to the right side of the fields table, the tab will open.
  2. Click the ‘Edit Field Geometry’. Note, the pop-up “Are you sure you want to edit boundary?”. There is the option to edit from either the Field List or the Field Pin on the map.
  3. The create field tool bar should appear on the right side of your screen. Once the tool bar appears, click the ‘Edit Boarder’ tool to edit current boundaries.

The field should be highlighted.
  1. Grab the current boundary and move to new desired location.
  2. Select the ‘Validate Geometry’ icon or the check mark located at the bottom of the create field tool bar.
  3. Complete ‘Field Details’ and press ‘Save.’
